The
Awards
section gives details of some of the major book awards, and lists the
most recent winners or short-listed titles. The Awards all have
different criteria, so while some of the books are quite challenging
(like the Man Booker short list) others are chosen more for their
popular appeal.
Authors
we have had lots of contact with high profile authors read some
interviews and find out more about writing.
The site also
contains information about authors and book events, and lists local
Book Groups.

which has some hints and tips if you are thinking of setting up your
own group and some interesting links to follow. If you have any
