Guidelines for reviewers

The aim of the reviews is to encourage other people try the books, so it is best if you write about books which are readily available in bookshops and libraries.

bullet

You can write about factual books as well as fiction

bullet

Aim at a maximum of 200 words

bullet

Give a flavour of the book rather than a summary of its contents

bullet

Say how the book made you feel and think

bullet

Say what interested you about the book

bullet

There is no need to write critically about the author’s style etc as you had to at school

bullet

Help other readers by pointing out e.g. that you found the book difficult to get into, but that it was worthwhile once you did.
